A memorable day out in Lancashire beginning at Oswaldtwistle Mills, home to a unique selection of retailers and places to eat, all under one roof. This afternoon we step back in time at Samlesbury Hall and join our award-winning guide, the Lady of the House, dressed of course in her rich historical attire. We will hear of the many lives and families the Hall has seen come and go over the centuries. From
be-headings to bewitchings, their fascinating and often gruesome tales come to life in front of our very eyes. After the tour we enjoy a delicious homemade cream tea (scone, jam & cream with tea or coffee) with some time to visit the grounds or maybe purchase a souvenir before we depart.
