We enjoy some free time at the town of Settle before re-joining the coach for the transfer to Settle Station. Here we board the train to Carlisle, for one of England’s most scenic railway journeys taking in spectacular views along the Ribble Valley, crossing the famous Ribblehead Viaduct and travelling along the edge of Dentdale before descending through the beautiful Eden Valley to Carlisle. We enjoy some free time at the historic border city of Carlisle for shopping and sightseeing before boarding the train back to Settle.
