We take a scenic drive to the ancient market town of Settle on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Spend time perusing the market stalls and myriad of listed buildings including the Shambles, the Folly and Ye Olde Naked Man Café to name but a few. This afternoon we follow the River Ribble to the Lancashire market town of Clitheroe, with a good variety of independent shops overlooked by the Norman Keep of Clitheroe Castle surrounded by acres of gardens.
