We begin our day at Thorp Perrow Arboretum with the finest collection of rare and historic trees in the north of England, a Birds of Prey & Mammal Centre and Tearoom. Wrap up warm and take a stroll along the Snowdrop Trail with up to 40 varieties of these delicate flowers carpeting parts of the woodland walk amongst other spring bulbs. This afternoon we enjoy some free time at Yorkshire’s smallest city on market day, with a variety of independent shops and a magnificent cathedral.
